I'm Ronak Bhatt, CPA, MBA — principal of Practice Partner CPAs. The firm is the healthcare MSO partnership I would have wanted as an advisor to my own family's practice owners, and the one I now build for the healthcare practice owners I work with.

I came to this work the long way around. CPA-licensed in California with deep tax and accounting roots, plus an MBA that taught me to read businesses, not just balance sheets. I've worked on the audit side, the tax side, the controllership side, and the advisory side. I've built financial models for venture-backed companies, run month-end close for multi-entity groups, and structured exits for owners selling at every range.

What I kept seeing across all of it was the same gap: healthcare practice owners — people doing extraordinary clinical work — were systematically under-served by their financial advisors. Their CPAs filed returns. Their bookkeepers reconciled accounts. Nobody was actually in the operating rhythm of the business. Nobody was tracking the metrics that mattered for their specialty. Nobody was at the table when the consequential decisions got made. And every month a new DSO or PE-backed MSO would call, offering to "help" by buying 70% of the practice.
